A rhymed, Spanish translation of Dr。 Seuss's beloved classic about trying new things!

"Do you like green eggs and ham?" asks Sam-I-am in this rhymed, Spanish translation of Dr。 Seuss's beloved beginning reader。 In this most famous of cumulative tales, the list of places to enjoy green eggs and ham--and friends to enjoy them with--gets longer and funnier on every page。 Follow Sam-I-am as he insists that this unusual treat is indeed a delectable snack to be savored everywhere and in every way。

Originally created by Dr。 Seuss, Beginner Books encourage children to read all by themselves, with simple words and illustrations that give clues to their meaning。

Random House's rhymed, Spanish-language editions of classic Dr。 Seuss books make the joyful experience of reading Dr。 Seuss books available for the more than 38 million people in the United States who speak Spanish。 Readers can enjoy The Cat in the Hat (El Gato Ensombrerado); Green Eggs and Ham (Huevos verdes con jamn); One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish (Un pez, dos peces, pez rojo, pez azul); The Lorax (El Lrax); Oh, the Places You'll Go! Do you like green eggs and ham?I do not like them, Sam-I-am。 I do not like green eggs and ham。Green eggs and ham is the story of Sam-I-am insisting to the other guy that he try the green eggs and ham until he says yes。 A nice rhyming and good art which is as usual for Dr。 Seuss books with a great message for everyone, children and adults alike to try something before deciding on whether to like it or not。4 stars

This book shows the way to not judge a book by its cover。 In the beginning of the book Sam presents green eggs and ham to a fellow person。 Throughout the book he continues to ask if he would like to try green eggs and ham and the man refuses the whole time。 At the very end the man gets annoyed and tries them so then he will be left alone。 He turned out to like green eggs and ham。 The book tells a story of not judging something before you try it。 I liked this book。 It had a good story behind it, This book shows the way to not judge a book by its cover。 In the beginning of the book Sam presents green eggs and ham to a fellow person。 Throughout the book he continues to ask if he would like to try green eggs and ham and the man refuses the whole time。 At the very end the man gets annoyed and tries them so then he will be left alone。 He turned out to like green eggs and ham。 The book tells a story of not judging something before you try it。 I liked this book。 It had a good story behind it, and I thought it was cool to see that side of it inside of just reading the book as it is。 It was cool to see the ending in how after he ended up trying them, he ended up liking them, there is a good message behind that with not judging things。 I would recommend this book to 4-5-year-old children who want to learn more about reading。 I think this is a great book to teach kids how to read。 There is diversity with characters with Sam and the man that doesn’t want to take the green eggs and ham even though he keeps trying to give it to him。 There is no movie。 。。。more

I absolutely adore this book。 When my children were little I used to read this book to them all the time。 I read it so many times that I had it memorized and used to recite it to my children when we went for walks as I pushed them in their strollers。

This is such a cute book that is great to read to children。 This book would be useful when teaching children rhymes and repetitions。 Children may read along to this catchy verses and learn to try out new food。

It is a very short, funny book。 Repetitive; I heard it's great for lulling children to sleep, and it has a very simple lesson that any young child may digest。 Also, even if you don't like it, it will barely take any time at all to read it so, really, there is no reason to not give it a try。 Don't expect any nuance or philosophy though! "Green Eggs and Ham" is great book to use to teach about rhyming words and poetry。 It is also just a really fun book to read。 Throughout the book, Sam I Am tries to convince the main character to try green eggs and ham, but the main character does not listen because he thinks they look gross。 Finally, at the end of the book, the main character tries green eggs and ham and likes them! Personally, I think this would be great to teach about not making judgements on something before trying it。 I wou "Green Eggs and Ham" is great book to use to teach about rhyming words and poetry。 It is also just a really fun book to read。 Throughout the book, Sam I Am tries to convince the main character to try green eggs and ham, but the main character does not listen because he thinks they look gross。 Finally, at the end of the book, the main character tries green eggs and ham and likes them! What else can be said about this iconic story? Green Eggs and Ham is one of my most favorite books of all time。 I still remember being in Kindergarten and seeing that bright orange cover with the strange creature inspecting the green ham。 It appeared to be rotten when I first looked at it。 Then, I read the story and everything changed。 We are getting with a young boy being constantly asked where he could possibly enjoy a dish that he does not like。 This dish is the iconic plate of green eggs and What else can be said about this iconic story? Green Eggs and Ham is one of my most favorite books of all time。 I still remember being in Kindergarten and seeing that bright orange cover with the strange creature inspecting the green ham。 It appeared to be rotten when I first looked at it。 Then, I read the story and everything changed。 We are getting with a young boy being constantly asked where he could possibly enjoy a dish that he does not like。 This dish is the iconic plate of green eggs and green ham。 The boy does not want to try it in any of the places that Sam-I-Am suggests。 Sam is an annoying and pestering creature who really wants the boy to try it before saying it is gross。The drawings in this book are typical of Dr。 Seuss's books。 There are weird colors and fuzzy creatures and big creatures and little creatures。 In fact, even the boy looks a bit strange because of the drawing style that is utilized。 I love all the weird places that Sam suggests and they are illustrated in a very cartoonish style。 There is a house with a mouse, a fox in a box, a train, and even a car。 Why would anybody eat in a speeding car?! This book is so funny and remains a classic decades after it was written。 I believe this is because of the message it sends to its reader。 The message is "try something before you say that you do not like it" and I think this is a very important message to have for young children。 。。。more
